| I'm a noob so bear with me. I see buffer tube assembly kits going anywhere from 55$ up to around 200$. Some say they are quiter from being fully polished ID tube, tungsten, etc. I need a lesson on what's truelly valuable and whats not. I will say, the DPMS Oracle AR I shot this weekend, IMO the stock was less than ideal, fit and feel. |

So, Here's what I've gathered.
You want a mil spec for the best fit. The cheapest options are 6xxx aluminum. (under hard use they can break) The nicer buffer tubes are 7xxx aluminum. (True mil spec, these are the LMT, BCM, tubes... possibly a few more brands) The BCM kit, it the cheapest 7xxx tube kit I've been able to find. They come into stock every few weeks. If you can hold off just get on the waiting list for it. It's one of the best one's you can find. |
