I am putting together a stripped upper receiver due to not being able to find a complete upper easily. What am I missing to compete my first build? I have a complete lower, BCG, stripped mid length barrel, stripper A2 upper receiver.
I am going to need: A2 FSB with front sight post, front sight spring, and detent pin. mid length gas tube magpul moe mid length handguard unsure what I am going to need to put this on flash suppressor of some sort with crush washer Am I forgetting anything? Thanks guys |

I'm in the same position myself on my 1st build.
http://www.ar15.com/content/guides/parts/upper.html You're missing: -gas tube pin (may come with FSB, not sure, I got a PRI rail-gas-block which came with the pin) -standard handguard spring/ring/retaining ring (MOE handguard will attach there) -MOE handguard doesn't come with end cap so you need one -fwd assist and ejection port cover assys -barrel nut -flash hider/crush washer EDIT: - charging handle I think that's it. Don't be like me and forget the handguard end-cap and have to figure out how to get one without paying $10 shipping somewhere
