Have they caved to the Gun Grabbers and quit selling ALL of their AR parts? Say it ain't so!

Got my BCG from them Monday and have a barrel nut being delivered today.

What makes you say that? I imagine they are just out of stock like everyone else.

They didnt stop selling AR parts, I believe they just stopped allowing backorders

They cannot sell what they cannot obtain.

Demand far exceeds supply right now.  AR parts aren't in abundance with any vendor right, unless said vendor is charging 3x the November 1, 2012 price.

maybe, check it out. The gouging is ridiculous!

I just got a barrel from Midway. This build has been a pain. Every vendor is in the same boat. Many are not taking back orders on parts and reloading components. The demand is unreal! PK

Midway USA is a first class operation.

The give the option at check out to round up to the even dollar and give that money to the NRA.

You also have the option to donate more to the NRA at check out.

For the year 2012, the NRA round up from Midway USA totaled $1,000,000.00.

They arent allowing backorders so as not to totaly bog down thier systems and deal with all the returns later if a guy backordered from mutiple stores. Also to keep people from complaining about delays. My guesses anyway.

At times I would jokingly call them Outofstock USA.  Stuff sells out as fast as they can get it back in.

yeah, stuff sells out becuae of the A$$holes that buy everything up to resale on Gunbroker and Ebay for 3 tinmes the cost...!!!!

everybody should boycot the gougers and send them emails of unapreciation...!!! we should pull togather and not pay overprice and let those greedy Fockers be stuck all the mass parts they bought to overprice... and see if we dont start getting products instock again... as long as those fockers can make a quick buck... then we wont have anything in stock at your regular venders...!!!

i realized this the other day i went to cabela's to see if i could pick up some reloading supplies... nothing i needed was in stock...  but there were these 2 guys there with a shoping cart that didnt even look like they owned a fire arm buying what ever reloading bullets they had on the shelf...  a guy from that worked at cabela's came up to them and asked/commented on how they must have alot of reloading to do and the both looked at each other with a smerk and said yeah... we sure do...   i just know that they were buying to resale at guaged prices..!!!

I personally am super pleased with Midway.  Ordered a CMMG complete 22lr upper assembly on Friday afternoon.  It was sitting on my desk when I came back from lunch today.  It wasn't "on sale" pricing, but wasn't over retail.

i ordered some glock magazines the other day when the came in stock last week.  I was expecting some sort of delay or problem.  They were at my house 2 days later.

i think the no backorder thing is good.  Cuts down on the gougers that are willing to back order 100 magazines from every vendor because they know they will make a profit on them later

I will give a vote for midway. It's my favorite site to order from. Good company. I've done orders with them recently and it went well too. Fast shipping, reliable when thy say in stock.

I have to agree with most everyone. I had a barrel picked out on a wish list and it was at the "no backorder"...they got a shipment in, emailed me and I ordered it...had it in three days...very happy. Now, on the other hand...I've got an upper receiver ordered from Dec. 30 but backordered...waiting patiently...and the price on my order is where it was before the Jan price increase...I'm sure it will come in one of these days...but thumbs up to Midway...

A+ for these guys.

Ordered the Schuster AR ejector tool Saturday night, it
showed up in Tuesday's mail.

That would be called service.

Best,

For the most part they've been good. I've only had one bad experience out of 3 orders in the last month
Last week I placed an order for independence 5.56, that was in stockI ordered 1 box of 500, and 25 boxes of 20,.. They both stayed in stock for 30 mins after I ordered. I got an email the next day that they had "accidentally" oversold the cheaper box of 500, so they would only be shipping me the 25 boxes of 20, that cost more... They also charged me the same shipping for 500 bullets, that I would have paid for 1000...

Agree, these types of actions will just benefit the distributors and stores, hiking prices in the long run.  The manufacture charges about the same and they get shafted by the backorders and long hours. Its crazy how some of the users in these forums brag on having 100's of magazines and 10 BCG's, posting pictures of 10 lowers or stripped uppers while the regular joe is struggling on just building one AR.  I know ppl are going to say "THEY SHOULD OF PREPARED" but in these rough times ppl were debating on either eating or buying bullets.  The hoarding for greed has to stop, and that is what caused the panic and price increases.

I am an AK guy that just happened to want a taste of an AR since the summer and it feels like I just walked into a minefield, trying to get an upper at an affordable price.

You got lucky that the model you ordered came in..  I've had one on backorder since the 23rd of Dec.  They did ship a couple of other items they thought might have been caught in an executive order ban but I'm still waiting on my upper.

I have placed and received three orders from them since the stupidity started. They are still going strong but have nothing AR related left to sell...

They haven't gouged me but the limit of two on certain items is irritating. I needed four gas key screws and I was limited to buying two...

Same here, I have never had a problem with them ever, and I even bought something one day and 2 days later it went on sale they just gave my account a credit of the difference. Top notch in my books.

Midway is good in my book, one of the first sites I go too when working on a firearm or reloading.

Do they still offer discounts to C&R license holders? I moved a few years ago but I have finally gotten around to getting my C&R at my new address.

midway is shipping ammo. 10 round mags and ar parts to NY. They paniced initially when the law was passed and shut everything down, but after they read the law they started up sales again. Good for them
