[ARCHIVED THREAD] - buffer spring question.

I got my 6 point stock in today (generic commerical one)
and the aluminum buffer pad has something inside of it???
Example.
When I shake the aluminum cylinder, I hear a rattling sound.
Anyone know if this is normal? It's my first AR build so I'm still a newb!
Thanks.
Its the top left silver part in this image. I don't know the correct termage.

The buffer has smaller weights inside it. It's normal.
