What are y'all doing to voice our opinions on the upcoming "gun control" debates? Looking around on the NRA website I found contact info for my senators and have already sent emails to them. I believe we need to get active with these kind of things before our gun rights are restricted so what are y'all doing for the cause?!?

Well,

Im not sure how the one off emails and such work...

Don't know if this is something that can be done here...

But petitions with large amounts of signatories seem to garner the most attention...

I know the NRA is on our side...

But if ar15 started an electronic petition with the backing of the majority if not all member here might be a good tool.

Nothing worng with the single person sending an email at all...

But there is strength in numbers..

Not sure what the policies are here for this to happen?

Just my 2£

Sent emails already, not sure how good it'll do though considering I'm from CT. They already proposed a 50% sales tax on all ammo and magazines and prohibiting anyone from buying offline here in CT. Not feeling too good here especially since I have really been wanting to build an ar15.

That's great, every little bit helps! I too have recieved reply emails back from my senators that sounded very positive. But thats kinda what I expected from Texas senators.
