Thanks. Any reason one is better than the other? The ones with powder respond more gradually and for a longer duration. It spreads the recoil impulse out over time which lowers the peak of the impulse and lessens the felt recoil. You can also "tune" the amount of powder easily vs. shaving a tungsten slug. (good luck with that) There may also be some manufacturing benefit of cost and/or assembly. |
