So after having 2 of my 3 lowers finally completed I think I am going to jump on the PSA Upper deal they are running today. (If anyone has any input on this particular upper I'd appreciate it also. Link to it)

EDIT: Also I saw this one just now after posting this thread, it seems to be a little cheaper ay input on either of these would be greatly appreciated. 2nd Upper

I have been building me and my dad both ARs for his b-day/xmas gift. I am pretty sure he also wants to buy a .22 Conversion kit eventually to save on ammo and plus it will be alot more fun to shoot. So I figured I would go ahead and get 2 of the .556 Uppers from PSA to match the lowers.

My question is will this upper still work with a .22 Conversion kit without damaging the upper when shooting .22? I have read countless threads on it and still can't really get a straight answer, so far anytime I have asked for help here y'all have been 2nd to none.

Thanks ahead for any help.

You can't go wrong with a PSA upper. I just got mine last week and it fit my SAA lower like they were made for each other.  Some have had problems with orders taking a while to arrive (mine shipped in 16 business days) so if you are not in a big hurry, you can't go wrong. Just remember that they are averaging around 500 orders an hour every day, so you might be waiting longer than what I did.

Just because he wants a .556 upper to start with and I was just wondering about converting it to .22 later on down the line.

That does not count weekends, it is business days, Monday through Friday. If you order on Friday the first day starts Monday, doesn't matter if you order at 6 AM (like I did) or 5PM. Expect longer than 15 days though, don't be like some of the people on their page and start whining on day 18. Have patience as they are very busy since the word got out about the quality and prices.

I ordered the PSA hammer forged upper on Cyber Monday. 1/7 twist and hammer forged for $319 cant beat it.
