Howdy and thanks to those of you who offer your input.
What I'd like to do is add some sort of monolithic quadrail, one similar to those shown here: http://www.pof-usa.com/14.5-p308-black.html Onto my very simple, plain Jane DPMS .223 sportical, and possibly the same thing to my DPMS .308 Oracle. The only experience I have with builds is stuff I've read on here, so if you have some advice for me, please explain it like you would to a child! Thanks and Gig 'Em, TDH |

Or follow the instructions that come with the rail. Don't get too concerned. Installing rails is really easy. |

I believe a monolithic upper requires changing out the whole upper. Your link was to a complete rifle. You can do it if you have the $$$. You would get something like this. You would disassemble your current upper and reassemble it using the new upper. If not just go with a free float rail system like Troy, MI etc...

Thanks and Gig 'Em, TDH Not quite sure why you want a full length rail Here's a Apex Carbine hand guard on my Oracle. Like it very much. Make sure you get the Low top rail. A full length rail will raise everything up.
