I was wondering if anybody had ever used a New Frontier Armory LW-15 Polymer Lower. I have heard that polymer internals are not amazing but decent. I would buy a Stripped LW-15 Lower from Joe Bob Outfitters for $44.95, and I could but my own parts on it. What do you all think?

Here
Check our Palmetto State Armory they had them for 39.99 I don't recall the brand but they were plastic |
| I have the LW-15 and like it. Never had any problems. I bought it because I had a complete upper and because of the low cost for a complete lower. If your're going to start swapping parts around in it then the cost increases and you might was well get that stripped lower and build it up the way you want. |

I have not had the chance to use one but, I do root for their success. It's only about 3.5 ounces saved in probably the lest effective area for weight savings but, it is still lighter.
I wish they looked better though. All of the polymer lowers look very ugly, very toyish to me. |
| Wouldn't do it. I just got done with a 14.5 gov profile coming out to 6.5-.6.7# with a standard aluminum receiver, very light to me and short. Brought it to the range and very surprised at the recoil impulse. Great to carry but not a great shooter. I have plans to build a second nearly identical but with a Surefire MB556 and then I'll start playing with buffers and BCGs to see what can tuned. No adjustable gas block. |
