Building my first AR and have been reading alot in the forums to the point of some confusion.  I bought a PSA Classic M4 stock kit.  I now understand there is a difference between a riffle buffer assembly and the carbine buffer assembly to include the buffer tube.  I looked but can't figure out which one I have with the PSA kit.  Any one have the answer

The rifle tube is round, the carbine tube has a ridge on the underside for the latch to snap in.

*usually* the carbine tube is shorter than the rifle tube.

If your stock body does not rotate on your tube, its most likely a carbine,
