I may be late to the party but, has anyone seen or bought the Zombie Quick Draw Case from Case cruzer?  http://www.casecruzer.com/gun-cases/qd-handgun-6pack.html
I stumbled across it last night while looking for something to transport several of my handguns when I get a chance to go shooting with friends. I kept finding double pistol cases, but that wasn't what I wanted. I wanted something better. Them comes along the Zombie case.

I have not been able to stop thinking about that thing. It looks so nice, and carries up to 10 pistols at a time...plus mags(I'd probably go with the 6). The only thing that has stopped me from ordering is the cost. It's a bit pricey, then again, it's way different and cooler than anything else I have yet to find.

I don't know if I was supposed to post this in here, but I figured there are plenty of AR owners that have handguns as well, and they may have insight or be interested themselves.

Any comments or thoughts on the ZQD?

That is a REAL nice pistol case, but yeah ... pretty pricy.

Just looking at that case ... I don't think you'll have any problems with it. It looks as though it would not accommodate tactical lights though.

I'm looking real close at it ... is that styrofoam?

I think I have read all the info that they have about it on their site, but I sure didn't find anywhere that stated the material used inside. To me, it looks like it's close cell foam. Whatever it is, I would imagine that it has some shock absorbing properties.

Even though we both agree that's it's pricey....I still get the feeling that I will have to order one. It is just too cool not to.

BTW: is that link working for you? For some reason it didn't for me, even though I got it straight from the site page. Weird.

edit: NVM, I found the issue and fixed it. The link works now.

That is a nice case

My wife bought me something similar from cheaper than dirt for Xmas last year. It holds 4 autos plus has a larger cutout at one end for a revolver.
The brand of my Case is seahorse and I love the way it holds pistols. She told me it was about $75
it is called "QuickDraw " I have copied a link below

Yeah, I found that one as well last night. Unfortunately, it was only after I had already seen the ZQD. If I had seen that first I probably would have one on order by now. But no, the cheapness of the Seahorse can not outweigh the coolness of the Case cruzer. I truly wish I get it out of my head, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
