I'm looking for a FF tube for a new build.  I was looking at the JP and the PRI Gen iii, then I came across the Lancer LCH and it seems to be a combination of the 2. The problem is I can't seem to find any 1st hand reviews on them. Anyone have one? Are they worth the money?

got it installed. I recommend cutting the back if the receiver extension nut(look up firebird's handguard install PDF) in a lathe. Make sure your dust cover pin does not protrude past the front if the upper receiver, file it or whatever. It should line up hand right at about 15 ft-lbs. I still used loctite so it wouldn't move but ymmv. if i didn't have access to a lathe, I would've just used loctite.

I feel that clocking the extension so it has tension/torque against the upper solidifies the tube. Its the only FF tube I've messed with so I really can't compare. An honest 1mm or less of deflection at the end of the tube but it's really solid.

it got warm but not hot after a mag dump

Thanks for the info and the emailed link. I'll be passing by Midway USA in a few weeks so I'll probably pick one up, if I don't like it I can return it on the way back by. My barrel won't be in for a few months, so I have time.
