[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Chrome Barrel Needed

Looking into getting a chrome lined barrel for my AR. Either 14.5" or 16" capable of firing 5.56 or.223. If you guys know of any good manufactures I should check out, please let me know.

Thanks for the suggestions. Currently I have a 1:9 twist on my barrel. Is it gonna make any difference if I go 1:7 or 1:8?

I go for 1:8” whenever possible.

the 1/7 and 1/8 will allow for longer and heavier bullets to fired, that's about it.

Most of mine are 1/9, one is 1/12 and another is 1/7. most of my ammo is 55gr so it does not matter to me. I do have a short supply of some Winchester M855 that is saved for the 1/7 colt. Just can't shoot the stuff anywhere as most ranges around here from on the use of that ammo.
