Finally finished my SPR build and hit the range yesterday. 140 rounds MFS .223 from PSA, zero malfunctions. I'm a crappy marksman but I was able to get 10 consecutive shots within a 3" circle at 100 yds, so I'm pretty satisfied. I definitely need to do something about the trigger though. It's the standard trigger that comes with a PSA LPK and it's simply too heavy for precision shooting IMO. Gotta give a big thanks to my neighbor who let me have a slightly used PWS FSC556 . That thing is amazing! Muzzle rise and recoil are non-existent. Anyways, here's a crappy cell phone pic and details on the build:

UPDATE
Hit the range again this weekend. 100 rounds MFS .223. Zero malfunctions. Walmart scope has held zero even after removing it to sight in iron sights. First time shooting this rifle, my 13 y/o was shooting 3" groups and hitting bullseye effortlessly at 50 yds. This rifle is badass...and my kid shoots better than I do. |
