Tryed to remove the gas block off the barrel. The set screws are lock tighted to the gas block. They wont budge. Any way to get them loose without damage to the Gas Block/Barrel.

Just a little heat should do it, you got a propane torch? Should just take a second or two to break it loose.

It takes nearly 500 degrees to loosen Loctite.

I agree, used a torch to remove mine also. Just held the flame so it was barely touching the block for about 60 seconds and they came out. When I was heating the block up you could see little heat waves(that's the best way I can describe it) in the metal and I thought I was discoloring the block but don't worry it rubs out with a little lube. Turns the loctite into a gritty dust, I just lubed the screws and turned them in and out a couple times to clean out the channel...remember to let the block cool a little cause if you're too impatient like I was you'll burn the shit out of yourself, hope this helps.
