I have a question about installing a quad rail on my ar.. I am wanting to replace my FSB with a single rail gas block and also add a quad rail while keeping the delta ring set up, so a non-free floating rail. I was wondering how I could do this with the forward handrail cap and if that would just butt up against my new gas block or would that look dumb and I should just go with a free float?? just wondering if this is how I would have to set it up or if there is a different way.

yeah youd have to but the endcap up on your new gas block just as it is on your fsb. IMHO go with a longer rail and a low profile gas block you won't be disappointed and free float is more accurate thanks, thats what i'm leaning towards.. i'm alittle nervous as to what it would look like with the end cap butted up next to the gas block. i just think that would look like a sore thumb.. |

I think I will keep those in mind for the long range ar i am in the process of building though. |

Install this to keep the delta ring set up, when you swap the gas block add a spacer the width of the cap. Bam, free floated and no handguard cap. For the price though, I'm with everyone else low pro the gas block and run a longer free float tube. Youtube of it. |
