Newbie, Basic questions..again.
I am installing Troy/Vtac Alpha battle rails (13inch) on receiver over a shaved down front sight base. I have flat top DD upper receiver. Am I okay installing Troy BattleSight M4 sights as a pair for same-plane aperture? I am thinking there should be no problem bit would like confirmation before buying. What is the difference between Troy BattleSight M4 Folding and Micro DOA BattleSights? Is the DOA just a lower profile? Is it worth it? They seem to be cheaper to buy them in set for some reason. Thanks in advance for all the help. |
| You should be GTG with those sights on that setup. I'm running the same sights on a PSA upper/13" Alpha rail setup. The micro sites are a little shorter and designed to work on something with a taller rail. Something like a POF, I believe. The DOA is the square rear aperture vs the standard round aperture. |
