1. Spikes Jolly Roger lower
2. Mil-spec Carbine Buffer Tube
3. Carbine buffer spring
4. Spikes Tactical T2 Heavy Buffer
5. Carbine stock castle nut
6. MAGPUL ASAP Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point
7. RRA Lower Receiver Parts Kit, WITHOUT Trigger Group
8. KNS Precision Gen2 Trigger Group Pins
9. Spikes Tactical Battle Trigger Set *Nickel Boron*
10. Magpul B.A.D.

Really excited to get it done. Wife looks at me crazy when I'm in the house walking around with just my lower strapped on with no upper.

Thanks everyone! It'll probably be about 6-8 months til I have enough saved up for my upper from BCM

Here:
http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-SS410-16-Mid-Length-Upper-Receiver-Group-p/bcm-urg-mid16%20ss410%20ddl12.htm

Til then I will try to decide on what optic I'm going to use. Debating on 1-4x20 Nikon M-223, Bushnell 4200 1.25-4x24, 2-8x32 Nikon M223, or 3-9x40 Leupold Mark AR.

I know it's a broad range, I'm leaning towards the 2-8x32 Nikon and the Bushnell 4200. I watch ebay like a hawk, so if one of them show up and it's a good deal I will try to get it.

If anyone has a preference or experience with any of the 4 listed please tell. Thank again.

6-8 months is a looooong time to wait for the other half of a rifle, buddy. You are a better man than I.

100% depends what you want to do with it. If you're at all interested in using the rifle CQB I'd say get some trigger time behind engaging (and switching) targets at close range with a magnified optic. It's doable, but in my limited experience some do it alright and some suck it up. Lots of factors at issue if you choose a 2-8 as an all around optic. Obvious answer is get both (aimpoint and a scope) in Larue (your mount will work so long as it returns zero, larues are just known for it) mounts and switch back and forth.

If it were me, I'd save up for a 1-8 scope. The 1x, in my experience, just isn't as quick as an aimpoint, but 8x zoom is nice if you have bad eyesight like me.

In a few moons I'll start creeping the EE for a 1-8 in a larue to supplement my aimpoint.

Looks great, we're in the same boat.  I've got my lower- an American Tactical- with a PSA MOE parts kit installed.  I'm waiting on the brown truck to show up from SAA to bring me my mil spec buffer tube kit, and a ACS stock in FDE.  Also pick up an AeroPrecision upper to start the upper build.  Right now I plan to pick up m BCG and charging handle from Bravo Co., but I'm still trying to make my mind up on barrel and forearm.  I want a 1:9 chrome lined M4 barrel, but having trouble finding one in stock right now.  Hopefully I can figure out the pic posting stuff here and I may start my own thread.

Congrats, I like what I see so far.

Thanks for your input d5griffin. I was trying to build a do all rifle for close to med range. Just depends on what I find out and about and my budget too. I'm trying to keep the whole build between $1,500 & $2,000. It's freakin close right now just with the upper I have picked out and what I have in my lower.

Most of my shooting will be close range on my parents acreage just have to watch where the cows are. I will probably go with my buddies as a guest to a large range in central FL to do some long range play.

I like the reticle & Illumination of the Burris 1.25 and I like the M-223 line of scopes with their rapid action 100-600 yard turrets. I wish the M-223 had a Illuminated reticle like the Burris. I think they would sell like hot cakes.

I'm either goin to do a 2-8 or 3-9 with a lil red or green dot 1x at 1'o clock all on the gun or two different optics all together, swap one on and other off, for close and long range shooting. Just so many choices so lil money.

Thanks wkyshooter I know what you mean by trying to figure out/search which barrel and forearm combo to go with. I was going to piece together the upper my self but BCM pretty much already had one that I was looking for. I don't think I could piece together one for a better price than what they have to offer. Posting pics does take a lil but it's not bad. Make a photobucket account, upload your pics there, then you use the IMG code from photobucket and paste it in the body of your text in the forum. Hopefully I got it right. Preview it to make sure it looks right before posting.
