I wanted to build a light weight AR for my daughter for her birthday.
I finished it last weekend, and got to run it today.
I’m very happy with the results.
Very accurate.
It finished at 7.6 pounds with optics.

Daniel Defense 16-inch LW profile barrel
DD low profile gas block
Spikes melonited gas tube
YHM specter length customizable one-piece hand guard
DPMS Levang linear comp.
DPMS Lower
DPMS LPK
JP Adjustable trigger with stock hammer.
No-name stripped upper, with RRA small parts
BCM Gunfighter Mod 4 charging handle (medium)
DPMS TiN BCG (for the bling)
RRA A2 Stock
Burris MTAC 1-4X
RRA cantilevered scope mount

This is the second five-shot group ever fired from this new barrel.
The first five-shot group was just over one inch spread.
(For this test the optic was an old Leupold 12x fixed power scope)

I'm very pleased with the accuracy from this 16-inch Daniel Defense barrel, and
now anxious to finish my build using the D.D. S2W profile 18-inch barrel that I bought at the same time

Those 16" DD LW barrels are nice, aren't they?
I just fired my newly completed 16" LW for the first time this weekend too. Very happy with it.
