I'm starting my first AR build, and I'm not happy with the selector switch that came with the PSA LPK. It just feels sloppy and not what I'm used to with my other two stock Armalites. So what switches are you using and liking. I remember seeing one sometime back that claimed to be more precision made and positive, but I don't remember who made it or where I saw it. Mostly what's important to me are positive engagements and a solid "feel" without any slop. I don't have a preference on whether it is amber-dextrous or not. Thanks |

And if you REALLY want a smooth selector that snaps into place, try the BAD-ASS from Spike's with the NiB coated barrel. I have one and it's even nicer than my other three BAD-ASSes. You could probably send your regualr ones to WMD and have them NiB them for $10 each I believe. OP sloppy in what respect? Hard and clunky to operate or is there actual slop on the switch? |

Also keep in mind that BAD has the free lever exchange program. As they come out with more levers, you can request one and try it out then send back whichever you want.

No, not too hard and clunky, more like too loose and wiggles too much while in positions. And it turns too easy for my tastes. It feels almost like it doesn't have a detent, even though I tried several detents and springs. I'm sure it would be fine for most purposes and I don't mean to bash on PSA, in fact I'm happy with the rest of the kit. FWIW the lower is a spikes. |

Contact Roger at BAD, he had great advice and I am very happy with my setup! |
