finally got my lower from spikes and the lower build kit. So far so good as far a smoothness of build. Im looking for some kind of carbine upper and found a Stag Arms model 2HT. Any good reviews on this upper? But I cant wait to be shooting again, Last time i shot was when I qualified back in 2010 with the m16. Here a pic of the lower so far:

| Lower looks good man. I actually like seeing pics of half completed rifles. As for the upper, do a lot of research before buying. Stag should be perfectly fine, but there is just a lot out there in that price range. I'd suggest looking at the spikes uppers to match your lower. AIM Surplus tends to have them at good prices when they are in stock. I'll also go ahead and say Palmetto State Armory, since somebody will eventually say it anyway. You can get into a BCM minus handguards for about the same price of that stag. |
