Hey everyone. I have a dpms oracle with the stock low railed gas block right now. I want to install a yhm rifle length free float but the rail won't fit over the stock dpms block. I want to order the yhm lo pro gas block and blacked gas tube. Should I order the set screw gas block or the clamp on gas block? Is one better than the other? Is one easier to install?

I will always opt for clamp-on over set screw. I've used YHM blocks several times and they work well for me.

Thanks man I'll order the clamp on then. Do u recommend some loctite to go with that?

i've had the YHM two piece specter gas block on my rifle for around 500 rounds without loctite, and it's holding just fine so far. i retorqued it just to check, and nothing loosened up.

I'm using the YHM set-screw block. Hasn't loosened up after approx 1500 rounds.
