Got my upper from Sota Arms and put together last night. Everything fit great. Now for sights or scope.

I did a site search for SOTA Arms and it seems like there are other people asking about them. I bet it would be appreciated if you did a short little write up on the specs of that upper and your initial impressions of quality/fit/finish etc. 
Also, WTF stock is that you are using? Looks crazy. Cool, but crazy. |
| Here is the description of the upper I got from Sota Arms. Complete upper has flat-top upper receiver aluminum. Black anodized finish with T-markings on rail. Made to fit all mil-spec style lowers. Barrel is 16" mag-phosphate barrel with 1/9 twist chambered for 5.56. Barrels are M4 contour with M4 feedramps. Carbine length aluminum machined free float handgaurd. A2 flash-hider. Comes complete with carrier group and charge handle. The prices listed include shipping. I placed the order on 2/4/12 and it showed up on 2/14/12. Not bad. Looked great out of package and fit right up to my lower. I ran some dummy rounds in it and everything worked fine. Will get out to the range when I get some sights or scope and let you know how that goes. But I am very pleased with them and not problems with order. |
