I ordered the Daniel Defense Mk 12 low profile gas block online, and I'm worried I may have been scammed.  Can anyone verify how this particular part is packaged and sold?  All of the pictures I see of the block show a logo with two interlocking "D"s stamped into the 6 oclock position on one end of the block.  It is also supposed to come with a small tube of loctite per the DD website.  I received a block with no markings on it whatsoever, no loctite, and it came in an unmarked, resealable plastic bag.  When I went back to the sellers website, I realized that the description and photos of the block were lifted word for word from the DD website.  Can anyone provide info, or even a picture, of the authentic block and packaging?  I've emailed DD, but haven't heard back.

Thanks

I believe I have the same block, and I know mine is authentic.  The newer ones at least last year in Feb did not have the DD on the end of the block, as people kept complaining about DD and them putting there logo on everything (gas block, bolt, and so on).  The packing as I remember was in a white box with a ziplock bag with a red seal at the top.  The two mounting screws that you use to tighten down the block used an allen wrench dont remember what size.

I only remember all of this as the first one I bought was out of speck and the pricks and the store I got it from didn't want to work with me ( said it was user error, screw them) I contact DD and was able to send it to them and they sent back a new one.  Total time was 4 days after Speaking to DD and having the new part in my hand.

Edit: The lock tight should already be on the back of the screw removew one and take a look, if there scrap that crap off an use a new tube of locktight

I ordered the block from a website that sells custom rifles and parts from all of the major accessory manufacturers.  There are so many products listed on the site that I seriously doubt the whole thing is a sham, but that doesn't mean that I wasn't sent something I didn't ask for.  In case the part is on the up and up, I don't want to put their name out there and start any rumors.  Right now I just want to know for sure what the block and packaging should look like.

So Mishqua, was the box you received labeled Daniel Defense?  Because other than the invoice from the seller, I have nothing that says Daniel.  No tube of Loctite, and no Loctite on the screws.
