I have a new unfired Noveske Lo Pro upper with a 16" midlength setup. Came from Noveske with a KX3 on it. I purchased a battlecomp 1.0 I want to swap it with. Is this something I can do myself? I can get a torque wrench. How hard will the kx3 be to remove. I've heard there has been some issues getting the battlecomp to align correctly with the supplied crush washer.
What torque do u use to install? 20 ft lbs? Or inch lbs? Do u use lock tite during installation? Any lube? Is the install relatively easy to do? An armorer around here would charge me $50 to do it for me, worth it? Thanks. Doug |

I've never installed a battlecomp, only A2's, but dug this up. Some tips there timing it with the supplied crush washer. As far as torque, did it come with instructions? I usually crank mine untill 'tight' and in the correct position , I'd guess 20-40 ft-lbs. Some gun oil on the threads probally wont hurt anything if you need to crank it quite a bit to time it properly, plenty probally soaks into the threads during cleaning.
