What length?  I have a brand new utg quad rail that is rifle length. Barrel nut won't fit over my bull barrel.  Not sure on fitment with piston.

I have a 12" spikes BAR, it has a fair bit of clearance. I might be wrong but i couldn't see there being a FF tube with much more clearance.
I would probably not recommend the BAR for peeps with small hands though. Just my .02c worth

I appriciate it, have looked at a lot of hand guards and many say they will fit, but when you talk to the factory reps they say they wont...I will look into a hand guard like yours when I get back from Afghanistan.

+1 for the BAR it has plenty of clearance.  Also looks damn slick and very light weight.

Check on the Samson Evo rail.  I believe they have several configs that include piston set ups.  not sure about yours specifically though.

thanks everyone, I emailed Spikes to see if their 12" spikes BAR would work and the lady emailed me back that none of their float tubes will work with piston systems.  I will check the others mentioned and let post what I find out.

The UTG's at cheaper then dirt say they fit piston systems as well.  For 89 bucks thats not bad.  I have one on a trunk gun and its held up fine.

Thanks a lot for the tip, I think the UTG float tube will work!  It might take a slight bit of modiifcation so I don't have to pull the front site off to clean the piston, but I dont mind modifying a 68 dollar part instead of a 300 dollar one.
