These two lowers look to me as if they are identically milled, and would require identical milling (FCG pocket and holes) to complete. Anyone purchased these particular lowers and can verify that this is the case, or tell from the pictures?

| With the Tactical Machining lower you'd have to machine the pocket for the takedown lug as well as the fire control group pocket. With the ASA the takedown lug pocket is already machined. On both of them you'd also have to drill the safety selector hole and hammer/trigger pin holes. Slightly less work with the ASA, up to you to decide if that's worth $50 or not. |

The ASA looks like the Colfax Tactical receiver, but costs $30 more.
Colfax Tactcal The advantage to having the milling already done around the rear lug is that you probably won't have to buy a long end mill to finish that area. |
