| I'm interested in custom engraving a lower to include safety selections and both sides of the lower. I've read about 80% lowers but do not have the skills necessary to complete the milling. I have built one lower and have a major "itch" to build one custom engraved. Is it possible to buy one I can engrave? Can I order one from a manufacturer customized? Or, am I stuck with an 80%? |
| There's no such thing as a "complete blank lower" as there is required info that has to be engraved into it per ATF regulations. There are some completely finished lowers that are void of a logo, if that's what you're asking. Otherwise, if you want a completely blank lower, you will need to finish a 0% or 80% lower yourself. If you're wanting a finished lower that is void of some markings just be aware that you will most likely need to have the receiver refinished after the custom engraving is complete unless you like the bare aluminum to be showing.
