I've got two lowers sitting around the from last sale.. now the question is, should I pick up two more just for future builds?

The site shows the AP serial numbers. Are all their stripped lowers made by Aero Precision?

Good to know, it has been months since I have purchased my last lower from them.  Too bad I'll be back in the store this week to buy some of these "newer" makes.

I have an Aero and Essential Arms lower. You cant go wrong either way. The markings on the Essential lower do seem a little deeper and more pronounced. The Aero lower is perfectly acceptable and the finish is very even and consistent. $49.99 is a heck of a deal.

My ole lady isn't an AR chick. She's happy with her little cute pocket pistol but when she saw the deal and knowing what I've paid in the past she TOLD me to buy three.

Okay, so who makes the LW serial numbers?

Bought one and its shipping to my FFL right now.

I just found out a guy is sending me an upper soon and I was going to need a lower for it. Since I have a stock kit lying around I only needed a lower and LPK. $100 for a complete lower I couldn't pas it up. I wouldn't be getting it if I hadn't just sold a optic mount though.

Not 100% on this, but I would be willing to bet they may go on sale again some time in the future.

i'm not too impressed with PSA so far. maybe i'm expecting a bit too much, but i called today and my order is "processing." i placed the order on 9/1. "well, FFL transfers can take up to 10 days sir."

I've seen alot of complaints on PSA shipping times lately.  From what I've heard they sold over a thousand lowers during that sale.  For each order paperwork has to be done, new FFL info has to be faxed in, and then it has to be boxed up and shipped out.  I hate waiting too, but you guys should really cut them some slack.  I've been to their store and its no Bass Pro Shop.  Its only a little larger than most hometown gun shops.  They probably have <5 people doing all the internet orders.  Be patient PSA is a good company with a fast growing reputation as one of the good guys.  You'll get your stuff.

Shit happens when you run a good sale that is well publicized. Things gets bogged down. If you needed a lower quicker, buy a spikes from AIM for $80

I ordered early morning on 02SEPT. my order shipped last thursday and should be at my FFL on Wednesday. 12 days is a while but for $57, you can't really complain.

i understand that it's an el cheapo lower; that's why i bought it. i understand that they sold a bungload of them and they may be behind. the communication (or lack thereof) is what's aggravating. an email saying "sorry about the wait; we haven't forgotten about you" would've been all i needed.

but when i called and was told that the order was still processing, i asked, "any particular reason?"

I got the canned response of, "well, FFL transfers can take up to 10 days sir." a simple "sorry; we got swamped with orders. we'll get it out as soon as we can" would've been nice, even if it was BS.

not trying to start a shit-storm, i'm just saying....

I ordered mine on 8/31 and it showed up at my FFL on Sat. 9/10.  I got a ship notice on 9/2, but it didn't actually ship out until at least 9/6.  No big deal to me.  On the plus side, this is the nicest PSA lower I've got so far.  A pictogram with a LW serial #.

the website says up to 10 business days for FFLs, and then elsewhere "all orders usually ship within 1-2 business days." guess i'll wait and see.

I ordered one last week, and they dinged my card, so I should be getting the lower this week sometime.   I already have two lowers, made by Aero Precision, so if they made them great.   Those lowers were used for a 6.8 SPC and a 6.5 G. This receiver will be used to complete my 6x45 20" upper.   Now I swap it out, when needed, with my 5.56 upper.

You'll have to ask your FFL that question. No one here can answer that unless they've used the same FFL you're using.

My FFL charged me seperately for each one. But at $15 each it wasn't a deal breaker.

Ordered mine on 9/7, FFL transfers are all complete. I also ordered the lower build kit and a complete upper. Both of those are already on their way, to be delivered tomorrow and Wednesday. It's gonna suck having everything except the lower. Oh well, it'll happen.

Update.. they did NOT ship my 8/31 lower with my 9/2 lower order

it was assumed they did (what they said).. my 9/2 order is processing..

I have to wait for that for my local FFL to give me 2 for 1.. otherwise its $38/each..

I'll just wait for the 2nd lower I guess to go get..

I don't have access to armorers tools anymore, so some ingenuity got it together. I still need to find a stock wrench to properly torque the castle nut, and I peened the trigger guard roll pin a bit. I'll probably try to get another one at some point. But since I don't have an upper for this yet anyways I'm not horribly worried about it.
