I think I'm going to go with a DD Free Float handguard. I don't see any lessons in the instrucrional link for DD. Is it the same as another or is there anything I need to be aware of specific to DD?

Also, the links to the tools needed are dead. Does anyone sell a kit with all the tools I'll need (to included the YHM wrench mentioned)?

If you are buying this rail new, you should have all the tools you need besides a socket wrench for torquing the barrel nut. Perhaps a set of allen keys but again, one should come with your rail.
