| Has anyone ever compiled or seen a list of the roll pin sizes used in building an AR? Seems like the local hardware store would be a good source given a reliable list of sizes actually used as standards. |

I have found them at the local hardware store. Sometimes the diameter is correct but they're too long - you can cut them down. |
| Bigger Hammer's list is incomplete. Here is another chart that appears to have all of the AR's roll pins listed, with dimensions. You can visit a well stocked hardware store and get the right size pins locally. Pay attention to the diameters, since the lengths can be ground to fit. I found the big box stores hereabouts had a very skimpy selection. I had to go to an old fashion hardware store that has a more complete selection of standard hardware, including tiny little roll pins. Good luck and arm yourself with a good set of roll pin starter and drive punches. - CW |
