started building a few ARs starting with the lowers.  Planning on purchasing the parts for the first upper with Osprey piston.  I'm trying to visualize in my head how it will all come together.  It will have Magpul MOE handguards.  I'm going to order the barrel, hand guards, and railed gas block.  My stupid question is what is going to hold the front handguard cap securely in position so it doesn't rotate freely affecting the guandguard allignment?

I know I probably should have just got the parts and started assembling it and figured it out along the way but I'm the type that likes to have it done in my head before I actually do it.

Thanks

usually the gas tube is what keeps it from rotating....

The cap will be sandwiched between the barrel step & the gas block. The gas tube will keep it from spinning.
