Have a DPMS lower. I would like to build a heavy varmint/sniper configuration so I can get rid of my 22-250. Am open to caliber, leaning towards .223 or 6.5. Any input greatly appreciated, first time doing this.

don't know much about the 6.5 but i know the 6.8spc was designed with hunting in mind...Probably would make disintegrating larger varmints easier

I went with two uppers a nato .556/.223 18" and a 18" 6.8 match barrel on a Larue lower (billet) also both uppers are billet. That should cover most game sizes.

What barrels did you use, and who did you get them form? Those look mighty fine!
