[ARCHIVED THREAD] - AR lower design....

So.....

I'm building an ar from an 80%. I have an idea of the design I want but can't decide which font to use.
Looking for some help.

I've narrowed it down to 3, I'm just posting the left side. The right side will have the same selector text and a zombme engraved on the magwell.
Which design do you like better? Fonts can be interchanged as well.

though I am not a fan of the "subhuman" tag. I like undead or unhuman :)

Yup... Me too... i think the number 2 font rocks... and i will second the "Undead" or "Unhuman" Tag... very cool lower... hope to see the Finished product..!!!

to me the term will never lose the connotations that the Nazis assigned to it.
(I mean no offense or insinuations)

i like the third one, actually. first one's messy, second one isnt reminiscent enough of zombie killing.

i also think you should but dead/undead or live/undead. human/sub-human doesnt make a whole lot of sense in this context.

The nazi thing didn't even cross my mind.
I was thinking human/subhuman since this is a "zombies only" rifle if it's human, don't shoot. If it's not, then shoot.

Door number 3. Looks like the letters are bleeding. I too will have to agree with previous posts and the safe/fire markings should go Live/ Undead. Or if you do all three spots, Live/Dead/UNDEAD.

Love the idea, like the 2nd font better but I think I would prefer the font to be horizontal rather than vertical. and I think human and undead or human and zombie would be cool for the safe and fire.

I tried some fonts with the text running vertical, but I couldn't get it to look right. The letters were either stretched too wide, or there was too much dead space.

#3, living/dead/undead.
I also like the vertical lettering better than on its side if you can get the engraver to center up each letter and get it spaced correctly.

I can align the lettters no problem, just threw that together real quick to see how it looks. I have a laser at work, and can design it however I need.
