LaRue, Spike's Tactical, Daniel Defense are the three lightweight rails out there (that I know of)

Weight Chart

That chart isn't 100% up to date but gives you a few good reference points.

Don't forget the MI ss rails..I don't care for the jam nut, but its light and is great if you don't need all that extra rail everywhere..

I have that MI SS-series on a 9mm SBR. Great system and easy to install. I like the Centurion rails but don't need all that railestate for my uses. Look at the Troy TRX, Apex, and Samson sustems. Daniel Defense is coming out with their version soon. I have yet to EVER see a rifle need all the rails that were installed. Maybe the Military with their sepcialized equipment, but for the average citizen....no.

My Troy TRX 13" came in today and it was fantastic quality and looks. Easy install and furnished barrel nut wrench. ($180 bucks free shipping.) I will use this one again. I love the fact the rail is flush with the upper receiver rail (no gap) for a true finished look and vary slim plus ultra light weight. Comes with 2-2" and 1-4" add-on rails with the 4" having a quick disconnect sling pucker hole. For the price this one (Troy TRX) is one sweet grip.

Daniel Defense. I own the Omega rail and it is super sexy and tough as nails. Light as all get out too.
