I started reading arfcom a few months ago and that prompted me to build instead of buy a whole weapon, so I started reading up about various manufacturers and purchased a stripped lower and a lpk from palmetto state armoury, along with a magpul acs stock kit. I am still trying to decide what I want as far as an upper but I like this lower...

Thanks, I like the storage options the acs offers and the cheek weld fits me perfectly, I am debating between the Spikes lightweight barreled midlength upper or a BCM or Daniel Defense rifle length SPR style upper. I am planning on using this gun for both target and hunting various varmints, groundhogs and coyotes. @AKEotech Thanks, I saved my first post for this especially. @AirRaceFan Yes, I did read that it could damage the aluminium between the hammer and the magwell. It has not been dry-fired except when the hammer was being caught by my palm. I am trying to find out how I can make the trigger a little better, I dont need match grade but something with less creep would be nice. |

Ok, just to update my own thread, I am now the proud owner of a BCM Mid-length lightweight 1/7 twist upper with Magpul MOE handguards. I am waiting for my BCG to arrive and then I plan to shoot the living snot out of this sucker!
