Well Im kinda new to the ar buid. Ive been around ar's for a while and have shot plenty. I am about to start my first build and thought I'd post it up to see what you guys think.
I plan on going with a spikes stripped lower then putting ST enhanced LPK and also a ST 10.5 inch upper with the upgraded nickel boron BCG iwas also plaining to put the KX3 on the end. I am not sure which rail systme to go with but I dont think I want to waist the money on a FF for a 10.5 inch barrel. So any suggestions on good rails would be apreciated. also i was debating getting a billet lower being that I am goping to have to spend an extra $200 to get my sbr stamp a friend of mine advised me to do this. My concerns were that I really dont need the billet lower. Are there any significant improvements to spending the extra money on them. Also what about a billet vs forged upper. Thanks for any in put. |
| Actually I am going to change a few things up I have decieded that I will go with an 11.5 inch barrel but im trying to deceided if I want to buy a complete upper or build from scratch. I came across a really good deal on a pof gen III lower so I will put the ST enhanced LPK in it just need to deceide on the upper. Any suggestions would be apreciated. And I am also wanting to put a 12 inch rail with the cut out for the FSP I am only finding DD and MI that make these if anyone knows of any other company please inform thanks again. |
