[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Removing Pinned Muzzlebreak?

Any tips on removing a pinned on muzzlebreak? I've located the pin and was thinking of holding the barrel in a vice on a mill and plunge cutting it out with a carbide endmill. Any easier ways?

Looks like the split and pry method would be easy to screw up the threads. I'd rather drill/mill it out.

If you have a mill, go for it. A better way if you have the tools is a metal lathe.
The easy way without a mill or lathe is the way I did that one.

I would take light cuts, about .005 at at time along the length of the pin. after you get about 1/2 way thru the pin it should fall out.
if the pin comes out blow the threads with compressed air so any burs dont get forced thru the threads as you unscrew it
