Found this outfit online.  Anyone know anything about them?  I've tried a search here, but it did not turn anything up.

Thanks!

never heard of them... whats your question specifically?

Specifically - anything anyone knows.  Are the reputable?  Anyone built with their products?  Any Model-1 Sales type problems (the credit card stuff from a few years ago). They say they use Shaw barrels, and that everything is american made - wondering if anyone knows more about that, too.  They've run an add in Shotgun News.

I'm wondering if this is a new Model 1, an upstart JT, or something like Vulcan/Hesse.

Any thoughts would be nice!

My gut feeling can be summed up in one word - Meh.

I notice that their address is a PO Box.

They don't have a "about us" page that really says who the hell they are.  No names... no real contact info at all.

They aren't sponsors here.

Their prices seem cheap enough that the quality of the parts is suspect.  And since i don't know who the hell they are i have no idea about how good their assembly process is.

I wouldn't give them my money and expect to get a quality product that would stand up next to my other rifles.  But if youd like to be a guinea pig for the class go ahead, ill listen to your report!

Ummm.... hoping to avoid the whole guinea pig experience.  That's why I'm asking!

I've seen one of KB's uppers. It looked quite nice.  I think it's a fairly new business. Shoot them an email if you have any questions.

I recently found them as well, and placed an order (20" Stainless bull barrel kit). Decided to register here (after many months of lurking) after searching for reviews of them online and this thread being the closest I could find. Will post results once the order is received.

I found KB back before Thanksgiving. They run an add in Shotgun News. It came down to them, Model 1 and Del Ton. Del Ton offers a discount to Arfcommers so I went with them.

Supposed to be in today or tomorrow. They apparently had a delay in getting the barrel from ER Shaw. I will post pics as soon as I unpack and follow with range report.

I just stick to known manufacturers and/or dealers. Pretty simple.

Generally I agree, I ordered all of the parts for my first rifle from site sponsors. But if no one is ever willing to give the new guys a try it means that we have fewer good vendors in the long run. Especially when some of the previously good vendors are starting to have quality control issues (see recent thread title "dpms sucks"?). Just my 2 cents.

Finally got the upper in. So far looks good. Everything is in working order, parts look clean. My overall experience so far is that their customer service could use some work, I had to initiate all contact, even when there where delays in the shipping. However I got exactly what I ordered, the parts look good and are of good quality.

Of course I need to get it to a range before I can say much more.

Took some quick cell phone pics but haven't had a chance to edit the sizes for display here so see link if interested.

Glad you got your parts and they look pretty good ... although that gas block looks to far back to me (there should be about 1/16" pace between the rear "shoulder" on the barrel and the gas block for proper gas port alignment) but maybe it's just the angle of the picture?

Hey that's not a bad looking upper!  Let us know how it shoots!
