Can I use my regular GI barrel wrench (3 prongs) to install the Larue barrel nut?  Will the prongs be long enough or does Larue require a special wrench?
Thanks.

" The “Barrel Nut” is installed just like any other; you snug it up three times, then torque it until the next gas tube hole aligns correctly"

Use a regular standard barrel nut wrench.

USGI wrench is what I used until I picked up a PRI wrench

LaRue rails doesn't need a special wrench any barrel wrench should work, just check that you have proper engagement of the prongs with the barrel nut holes.

I didn't have a GI wrench but I just used a YHM free float tube installation wrench when I installed my LaRue 9.0.

Ref. here's how it looks, but I bought mine from Bravo Co.:

Yes, that's the one I got.

I wish it had a connection for a torque wrench but with the LaRue it's not required because installing it only requires to line up the next barrel nut hole with the gas tube hole.

It's easy to line up the next hole of the barrel nut with this wrench, it have those alignment holes which lines up with the gas tube hole, as soon as you see that the holes are lined up stop torquing the wrench.

I used my old detachable carry handle to line up the top rails of the upper receiver and handguard, while the carry handle was attached I tightened the mounting ring with my rubber strap wrench.
