What do you guys think of this BCM Black 410 SS 1/8 Barrel?.........Is it worth the money over a CHF Chrome lined Barrel? Would it be more accurate?
Dont like the look of polished Stainless so when I saw this Ionbond coated one I really started to consider Stainless. BCM Ionboned coated 410 SS Barrel |

Better suited for precision oriented rifles. With the right ammo, you'll get MOA or better.
Its heavy, so only you can decide what you want. What a good CQB rifle? Stick with govt' or lightweight chrome lined barrels. Want a more general purpose rifle? Go with a stainless, but understand that the barrel life will be shortened. The biggest killer of stainless barrels is heat. |
| Read this by Adco then decide. It all depends what you want to do with your rifle. If you are going to be doing a lot of mag dumps, then you might want to consider the chrome lined. If you want a little more accurate shot placement, then go with the SS. YMMV |
