I want to install a new FH. It comes with the shim washers to center the hider but can I just use the Red Loctite or will that fail?

No need to locktite it. Use the provided washers for a correct install. +1 Install it correctly as instructed by the manufacturer and you will never have problems. Also if you think about it... locktite loosens with heat... the flashhider is going to get HOT. |
