I am trying to put together a lower with an RRA parts kit, but the detent pin that locks the safety switch in fire or safe position will not allow it to move between either position. Even without the spring installed. There are two pins in the kit, both are exactly alike. Niether is more pointed on one end than the other.........what gives

The two pins that are alike are the pivot and take down detents.

The safety detent is larger, pointed on one end and flat on the other like this:

OK, well, I have two RRA lower kits, I examined both and it seems that one kit is missing this detent described above. Looks like quality control dropped the ball. Thanks all

It happens, I just got a ST Enhanced and it didnt have roll pins or a mag catch. Not the button but the mag catch for Petes sake. One of the largest parts in a kit. PSA also screwed up and forgot the MOE buttstock and buffer assembly in the MOE kit I bought from them before Christmas.

I dont know why, the cheap kits always had everything in them they were supposed to.
