I working on a new build, and most everything is done....BUT, I don't like the setup that I have now with the Troy BUIS because of the angled gap between the BUIS and the CASV.

I've always used Troys, but if anybody can recommend a new BUIS that pleases my eyes please do.

Am I being a princess, or do some people actually have aesthetic OCD like me?

I wouldn't sweat it personally.

If it still bothers you, I think the Wilson Combat rear BUIS is squared off. Don't know if it will fit behind the riser though.

Good luck

ETA:  A bit pricey but may look good to you

dont think Matechs work with the CASV system.

OP... you may be being a BIT of a princess.  I have the same setup, and ive never noticed that gap really.  And i don't think anyone else ever has either.

But i do understand where you are coming from.. if you are building a safe queen (which it sounds like you are) then you want everything to be perfect.  That wilson ALMOST looks like it would work... assuming it only uses 1 notch on the upper rail.

No safe queen here, it plans on having 1,000's of rounds put on her as soon as I finish everything up. Aesthetics have just always been important to me, but after looking at it a lot more, I think I'll just deal with it
