| an action block to put an barrel on an upper? I plan on putting a 6.5 Grendel together and am wondering if I need to get one for just this one build. |

I don't see how you can replace a barrel without marring the hell out of an upper. I know people have done it with just barrel blocks but an action block is well worth it, just for your sanity.

ive assembled with wooden blocks ive pieced together...and with a receiver block.
Both went together no problems really.... torqued to spec and no bending or damage to the upper.... But now that i have an actual receiver block i wouldn't use wood again if you paid me to. Buy a block... borrow a block... seriously. |
