This is my second time assembling an upper receiver from scratch, but the first time I have run into this problem and this is the third time I have tried installing this FA.  I have the FA in, and the roll pin in far enough to hold it in place but when I slide in the BCG for fitment it gets stuck on the FA prawl and won't come back out without knocking out the roll pin .  My initial solution was to take it out and grind it down, but I figured I should calm down, slow down and ask here for help first .  Thanks in advance!!!

Thanks, but I already used the search function to find that particular thread.  However, it does not address my particular problem.  I have no problem getting it fully installed, but once it is its as if the FA is too long and catches the BCG without being depressed.

It sounds like an incorrect installation.  You definately will need to knock out the roll pin and start all over again.  Sorry.
