Bought one from Rock River Arms. $75 got me the whole kit including shipping.

I had one in the past, and it was an upgrade over the basic carbine stock in terms of durability, feel, and features.  Not on par with a Magpul ACS or anything, but a decent stock.  I like the buttpad as well.

CAA may have a negative rep for some products, but I do like that buttstock.

Its not a bad stock, I have one and like the buttpad as well. It also has two QD sling mounts and a standard loop. You can get a cheek riser piece that mounts to a rail on the other side of the battery compartment, which is reversable. The OD green color doesnt match with magpul but black does; hard to mess up black.

I've got two, and I like them both.

CAA = Fobus. In my book that also = FAIL. YMMV.

I personally would have looked elsewhere. I ordered something they made a few years ago, I will not make that mistake again, especially when Magpul is about the same price.

But, if it works for you, that's cool. I am not going to think less of you for running something that works.

I've got one.  Couldn't resist it for the price = FREE.  But at the going price ($40-50 if you shop around), they're still darn good.  I spent the $25 on the adjustible cheek piece and really like it.

CAA isn't the greatest mfg. out there, sure  But the butstock in particular is actually a pretty solid piece.  2 QD swivel insert points on each side and butt pad included are nice touches (and things you pay extra for on other models).  Battery compartment is an OK addition, I guess.  Both the stock and optional adjustable cheek piece can be set up for right or left handed shooters.

Mine was a little loose on the my Spike's mil-spec tube, but I adjusted the pin a bit and threw a quarter-sized disc of Bow Saddle material on the inner top of the stock, near the front (Bow Saddle is a tin/soft material used for archery bows... on arrow rests and grips... adhesive on one side and ultrasuede on the other).  Tightened things right up and the material won't damage the tube.

Biggest legitimate complaint = It weighs a ton.

I love mine, though haven't shot it yet.  Seems rock solid to me.
I got the buffer assy, tube and stock as a package deal.
Fits really nice with my lower and no discernable play.
