The scope performs excellent. Very crisp and clear optics. Holds a zero even after riding around in the truck and getting banged up. I am impressed for the price.

I used some rattlecan krylon. For the initial/background I used a neutral tan, then applied the pattern with a laundry bag and used a lighter tan/off-white and brown to give it the 3d effect.
