| Alright so this will probably get me kicked off here laughed at but here it goes... I have a new S&W M&P AR-15 with Barska 3x9,bipod,flashlight and laser and a few rails. Problem is Im new to this as coming from the 1911 and hunting rifle world. I would really like to learn and build my AR in ways Ive seen all the members' on this site. I just dont even know the bare basics. No...really... I just learned what an upper and lower meant. Yeah THAT bad. I have been online for last two months 4 hours a night trying to learn as much as I can but still strugging with what rails are for what and where they go. If someone on here wouldnt mind answering a bunch of embarrassing questions Id thank you more than anything. I could post a picture if needed.thanks... |

We were all new at one point, whether online or offline, we have all had our questions. WELCOME to the site. Post a pic, ask detailed questions, we will answer. |
| Thank you all...I am mainly wanting target shoot up to 250-300 yards but also need for coyote "disposal" om the farm for vengance against my chickens. I have been researching night vision scopes daily. I dont mind adding a few grand into my rifle but I wasnt wanting all of it to go into the scope. I want a NVS to do well at at least 100 yards even on a very low star/moonlight night. If I buy one with built in illuminator would I just be better off buying a more powerful secondary light to reach further? And also I read that most animals can see the IR light? This true? I have been leaning towards entry level ATN MK350. Mixed reviews. Any suggestions? Ive read so many forums and all your guys' posted pictures and they all look amazing. Just trying to get to the same point. Thanks |
