For now....Gonna finish it off with an Eotech XPS2-0.  This build cost me more than I care to say and took me 11 months to complete.  I took my time and got exactly what I wanted (more or less).  God these things are fun to build...

I have already started my second build, a 6.8 SPC.  I hope I am making the right choice with the 6.8.  I love the caliber but hate the cost of ammo.  I have read reports the 6.8 might be adopted (on some level) with the U.S. military.  I hope that happends, might help bring the prices of ammo down.  If not, I will be learning to reload.

Big thanks to all who have helped me along the way.

Beautiful job. The XPS is a good choice, I have one on one of M4's and it hasn't flinched a bit. Great work !

Thanks....I was torn between Aimpoint and Eotech, but in the end, I prefer the Eotech display.  Really looking forward to picking one up.

Thanks alot....Yeah, I am glad I picked up three of their lowers before the implosion of Anvil Arms.  Sure is a shame, AA made some pretty good stuff as far as I can tell.

How does the finish on the Mega Upper match the Anvil Lower?  I too have an Anvil Lower and have had problems finding an upper that has a finish that matches my lower.

I went with the Mega upper for two reasons...they have and excellent reputation for quality and the finish is Teflon coated just like the AA lower.  To the naked eye, the finish is identical...perfect match.

I chose the 6.8 for my second build also.  Its my favorite rifle now.  The cost of ammo will come down over time.
